Foreart Plastic Model Kit
Ukrainian M142 HIMARS ATACMS/GMLRS (1/72)
This 1/72 scale kit from Foreart represents the Ukrainian-operated M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, commonly known as HIMARS. Mounted on a wheeled military truck chassis, the system is designed to deliver precision rocket strikes at long range while maintaining excellent mobility on the battlefield. The kit captures the distinctive appearance of the launcher vehicle and provides a detailed representation suitable for modern military modelling.
The model includes a range of advanced features that allow builders to explore the structure of the vehicle in greater depth. Opening hatches and doors reveal a detailed driver compartment, while the engine area is also fully represented. The kit offers two build options covering the ATACMS and GMLRS launcher configurations, and includes 3D printed tyres and photo-etched parts to enhance realism across the finished model.

History:
The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System was developed in the United States to provide rapid, long range precision fire support for modern military forces. Based on a wheeled truck chassis, the system is lighter and more deployable than the tracked M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System while still carrying a powerful rocket pod capable of firing guided munitions.
HIMARS gained significant global attention after being supplied to Ukraine during the conflict that began in 2022. Ukrainian forces used the system to conduct precision strikes against logistics hubs, command centres and ammunition depots. Its mobility, accuracy and ability to rapidly relocate after firing made it a key weapon system in modern warfare and one of the most recognised artillery platforms of the conflict.
