This 1/24 scale plastic model kit from Hasegawa recreates the legendary Nissan Skyline GT-R that claimed victory at the 1991 Bathurst 1000km race. Known for its dominance in touring car competition, the R32 GT-R earned the nickname “Godzilla” for its overwhelming performance on track.
Based on Hasegawa’s HC41 tooling, this release includes additional parts specific to the Bathurst-winning specification. With approximately 135 parts, the model accurately captures the wide stance, aerodynamic detailing, and race-prepared interior of the iconic machine. The finished model measures approximately 190.5mm in length and 80mm in width, delivering an impressive display piece in 1/24 scale.

History
The Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 was developed to compete in Group A touring car racing and quickly became one of the most dominant cars of its era. Equipped with advanced all-wheel drive and a powerful twin-turbocharged engine, it set new standards in performance and reliability.
At the 1991 Bathurst 1000km, drivers Jim Richards and Mark Skaife secured victory in challenging conditions, further cementing the GT-R’s reputation. The win at Mount Panorama became a defining moment in touring car history and helped establish the R32 GT-R as a motorsport icon.
