Zimi Model Plastic Model Kit
10.5 Cm LeFH 18/4 Auf Geschutzwagen Lr.S.(F) (1/35)
This 1/35 scale kit from Zimi Model depicts the 10.5 cm LeFH 18/4 auf Geschutzwagen Lr.S.(F), a German self-propelled gun developed during the Second World War using the captured French Lorraine 37L artillery tractor. The Lorraine chassis, originally designed in the late 1930s, was valued for its fully tracked layout and reliable mobility in frontline conditions.
In its original role, the Lorraine 37L served as a supply vehicle, transporting ammunition and fuel under combat conditions. When adapted by German forces, the chassis was fitted with the 10.5 cm LeFH 18 howitzer mounted in an open fighting compartment, creating a practical and mobile artillery platform with light armour protection.
